The Marilyn Barbera's reasoning that migration to America was because of conscription was also part of my families lore.By the time my Grandmother arrived circa 1907 the Usticesi were well established in the New Orleans area, at least my grandfather, Anthony Bazile had his own farm, in Marrero.
