Tour of Ustica
Pass of the Madonna |
At the northwestern edge of Tramontana valley lies a steep cliff dedicated to the Virgin Mary. Here there is a small chapel that you can stop by for a visit. The wall built to prevent rocks from falling into the road was painted with bright images of the sea and sealife of Ustica by the school children of the island. |
Views of the sea are spectacular from the high perches of the Pass of the Madonna. |
